About

Adam Schumacher, Executive Chef

When I was 5 years old I remember always helping my mom cook and bake and loved every moment of it. At the start of 6th grade I lost my mother due to illness. From that point on cooking has been something that reminds me of her and how fun it is. Since then I've been cooking professionally for 11 years and have worked under some great chefs. Crazy enough my favorite style of cooking is Italian food,  I LOVE making fresh pasta at work and at home with my girls it became a thing once a month we make big batches of pasta and dry it and the girls just love it. Family hobbies include Sundays during the summer going fishing with grandpa or going to the shooting  range or having family and friends over for BBQ and a fire.

Q&A

Q: Aside from your restaurant week dish, what items does your restaurant source from local farmers? Please share the names or locations of local farms that you source ingredients from.

A: Dakota Mushrooms and Microgreens: local company that grows organic mushrooms for us as well as micro basil and other micro greens we utilize in a multitude of dishes.

Q: If you source locally: why is it important to you?

A: It’s important to us to support other small businesses in our community plus the added bonus of really high quality ingredients grown locally!
